All ok, still amazed how a local aviation community comes together.
what started as a normal approach in the pattern, went south quick.

BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. — A small plane crash-landed Tuesday morning on a busy north metro highway.

It happened in Brooklyn Park near the intersection of West Broadway Avenue and Bottineau Boulevard, which is about 2.5 miles northwest of Crystal Airport. Brooklyn Park police say the crash resulted in minor injuries. Thunderbird Aviation, which owns the plane, tells WCCO "everyone on board is safe."
According to the website FlightAware, the Piper Cherokee took off from Crystal Airport at about 7:13 a.m. and was scheduled to return at 10:31 a.m.

Aviation Audio Clips / AAL1626 Generator Failure Descending into KCLT

On November 26, AAL1626 was at 7000 feet descending into Charlotte (KCLT) when one of the aircraft's generators failed.  The flight crew declared an emergency and landed safely on runway 18R a short time later.  Unfortunately. the attached file only has the audio from KCLT Approach; LiveATC currently does not cover the tower for KCLT.

We had yet another power outage yesterday. Seems to have taken out a router or a Pi. Not sure which. Will get to the site in the next day or two to try and get it back up.

*Update* Back up now...

*another update 2023/11/29* ISP wired router has failed again. Contacting for replacement... [2-3 day delivery for new components]

The Cessna 182G Skylane experienced a loss of engine power and landed in a ditch short of runway 5 at Casa Grande Municipal Airport (CGZ/KCGZ), Casa Grande, Arizona.
The sole pilot onboard received minor injuries.

Listener Forum / KBWI Tower feed

Hi -

 For the last week or so, the KBWI Tower feed shows up, and connects A-OK. However, there is no audio in the feed - no static, side tone, no nothing.

(The Ground and approach final feeds are working normally.

Thanks for the report. Should be a little better now but we need to reach out to our contact at the receiver site to make a change. In the interim we also added Tower to one of the other channels from a different (SDR) radio.

Free archives are only available going back 7 days now. We have provided 30 days of free access for the last 20 years and charged on an individual basis for archives beyond 30 days. That has moved to beyond 7 days due to work being done to increase the length of archive retention to 5 years and cost increases.
