ZNY using 121.12 Out of Douglaston RCAG
« on: April 30, 2024, 18:01:57 UTC »
For those out there that are interested in this kind of stuff (Jetscan...), ZNY has been simulcasting the controller comms for ZNY86 (Atlantic Sector) on 121.125 almost certainly out of the Douglaston RCAG.  Stumbled across this quite by accident yesterday and so far it has continued to today.  No way to tell how long it's been like this and, of course, no way to tell how long it'll stay like this.  It has been added to the ZBW/ZNY/ZDC (JFK Area) #3 feed...

Thanks for the update. Checking the JFK3 archives from this afternoon and it sounds like they have stopped the simulcasting.

Yea, they actually stopped simulcasting yesterday.  The archives from yesterday morning should have it.

Just noticed that ZNY is once again simulcasting 133.5 and 125.925 on 121.125... (same controller working both sectors)

At the same time ZNY is also using 128.675 today, simulcasting the controller from both 125.325 and 127.175 (controller working both sectors most of the day today).

Both of these frequencies are out of the Douglaston RCAG Happy listening!
