« on: October 23, 2009, 07:01:40 PM »
From AP:

"RAISIN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — Authorities say a single-engine private plane has crashed in southeastern Michigan's Lenawee County, killing two people on board.

Sheriff's Cpl. Conway Linger said the crash about 4:30 p.m. Friday in a wooded area about two miles north of Adrian in Raisin Township killed a man and woman believed to be in their 50s. The victims haven't been identified.

Linger said police have received information that the plane was coming to Adrian from Pennsylvania but he had no further details."

Not much else is known at this point, only that it was a four-seater private aircraft.

The victims in the single engine plane crash near Adrian have been identified.

A single-engine private plane has crashed in southeastern Michigan's Lenawee County, killing two people on board. Sheriff's Cpl. Conway Linger said the crash happened about 4:30 p.m. Friday in a wooded area about two miles north of Adrian in Raisin Township.

The Toledo Blade has identified the victims as Eric Beaudry and wife Deb Beaudry.
The couple was en-route from Scranton, Pennsylvania to the Lenawee County Airport. They were expected to visit family in the Adrian area.

The Lenawee County sheriff's office says they're still trying to determine whether a wing of the plane clipped a nearby cell tower before it crashed."
