Newbie hear, It wont let me listen to transmissions

I know this has probaly been answered a hundred times, but when i click on listen next to one of the cities it then asks me to save a file which i do but then nothing happens. What am i doing wrong??

you have to open the file in itunes or something like that

the file you downloaded just tells the player what to stream

Use winamp or iTunes and set your .m3u extension to open in one of those media players.  Alternatively you can also click on the standalone java, java, or flash player links for each feed.
