MEDIA PLAYER PROBLEM
« on: February 07, 2007, 05:08:23 PM »
OK gang I am asking for serious help here please. Can anyone assist me in a problem I have listening to LIVEATC. All other links I have in my media player work but the links to LIVEATC. Everytime I click on the feeds it comes up window media player cannot play the file becuase it doesnt exist or can be found offline. Then when I acknowledge the message and get the ready icon in the media player i click it and then a message comes up there is an network error in connecting. I thought I would try and download another media player but my computor wont let me download anything. I really miss listening to LIVEATC. Any suggestions plaese would by greatly appreciated.

this has happened to me.

there's a trick to it, but i'm using the latest version of media player so i don't know it works with all versions of WMP.

when that error message "window media player cannot play the file because it doesn't exist or can be found offline." comes up, just click the close button and then click the play button.
the stream should start playing.

this process may or may not work on your computer, but it works on mine.

I've seen that problem also, and like other poster, retry and it works.  Media player is very sensitive to time out's, especially when it initially tries to establish the connection.
