does anyone know of a site where you can monitor navaid frequencies--would love to download some vor identifiers.

All you'd hear is the station identifier repeating in morse code.

Yeah, for VOR idents, why would you listen to to morse code?  Or are you thinking of HIWAS on the voice portion?

There's also the FSS side of voice on some VORs, but you'd only be listening to 1/2 the conversation.

i guess i'm a little bit nutty that way.  used to love listening to obk 113.0 (northbrook vor)--brings back old memories of flying around chicago by myself--also with my dad.

that and i get a kick out of some identifiers and the way they sound--especially in the south.

possibly / probably  a young boy scout / eagle scout looking for a merit badge in morse code ?   i did something similar MANY years ago when studying for my merit badge and it helped    good luck to you ..
