Absolutely any time I can.  Like I said on twitter some time ago, can't imagine a day without LiveATC.net.

I tend to listen at work in the PM when I am caught up on my work.  I have headphones so it does not bother anyone.  Can you imagine, no one at work has interest in live ATC listening? :-D

I listen to it in the evening when I am doing stuff on the PC or a quiet night on Vatsim.  Sometimes I even answer the real world calls on Vatsim.  That is how I know I have had enough for the night.  Then I just drink plain Pepsi.

My office is at the north end of runway 15 at KBUR so I frequently listen during the day at work.  It's always fun to figure out who is making all that noise.  Sometimes I also look up tail #'s, to see who the plane belongs to.

Whenever I am at home and at ease, especially to the EHAM (misc) controllers, which in my opinion are exquisit. I wish there were more stations to broadcast from Spanish TWRs/ACCs, does anybody know on what that depends?

Cheers

Driving around (streaming to iPhone App), or at home through iTunes.  I live at the top of the NJ Shore and can watch JFK approach on 4 and 13 very well, 31 is way distant, and nothing on 22.  Hence my interest in adding 118.4 which they use for 13L when they are landing on both 13L/22.

Every day in the evening, combined with flightradar24.com radar. The movements on the radar and the streaming from liveatc.net are very well synchronized :-D

Eric,

The closest I have found is flightaware.com .  I say closest but that is not quite true.  It does not compare to flight radar, but better than nothing.  If there is something else, please share.

I've spent a good week or more now with Flightradar24.com, and it really does cover the entire west coast pretty well. I spend most time looking at Oregon and Washington.

So, about this ADS-B. What is that? What airlines would be equipping jets with it? I notice I never see any Southwest jets, and I must only be seeing airlines that fly internationally. But then that didn't explain the Frontier Airlines planes.
