« on: April 22, 2008, 15:07:20 UTC »
Oakland International Airport

KOAK feed is now “ON AIR”

Metropolitan Oakland International Airport commonly known as Oakland International Airport is one of three International Airports in the San Francisco Bay Area, California USA.

Airline operations use the South Field (runway 11/29), which can be heard on the current feed: Tower 127.2, 121.75 Ground, 121.1 Clearance Delivery
Common carriers are Southwest Airlines and JetBlue Airways

General Aviation utilize the North Field (runways 9R/27L, 9L/27R, and 15/33).
Feed coming soon.

Enjoy!

Ken

Yes, I can receive AIRINC on VHF 130.8 and 131.95 for SELCALL and HF SSB  primary and secondary frequency assignments. In a future feed I like to include Oakland Center on 134.15 as well. Once I get adequate reception on the shortwave frequencies I like to stream out a few HF SSB frequencies too. Thanks for asking.

Yeah, it's been a while. Need to hide the cables under the rug.  :-D

I will be adding 2 more frequencies covering North Field General Aviation sometime today to my existing KOAK setup.

Does that mean you will have 5 freqs on one feed, that many makes traffic hard to follow.  All i hear now is GA with an occasioal WN.

Yes, I agree. I've been listening to the feed and the additional 2 channels do add a bit more confusion.
Best to keep the South and North fields on entirely seperate feeds.

B-17 is flying around the Bay today. Heard him on Oakland tower a few times today.

Update: I've set up the stereo feed. I placed the 2 North Field channels on the right speaker. You will need to use your balance control to "seperate" the audio if desired during busier times.

It's great to have an OAK feed finally. :)  Any chance for streaming Grove on 125.35? :)

Once I get my second, third....fourth receiver hooked up and a seperate feeds going I'll gladly add that to the mix.
