These videos show the difference between Naval Aviation and any other kind.   The links below are two outstanding videos about F-18 carrier operations aboard the USS Nimitz during weather that causes a severely pitching deck, which  is very evident in the first part of the video.  It's more dangerous than most combat missions and the tension in the pilots and crew is very apparent. This is a very unnerving,  where an exercise of taking off and landing  from a pitching deck begins at in the daytime, and ends at night.  Incredible.  These are 10 minute long videos each, so you may want to view them at home or during lunch. You will never forget viewing this. I have seen a lot of aviation emails but the two videos below are undoubtedly the best.   Turn on your sound and go full screen.  I guarantee this will definitely hold your attention.

Right on. These guys do everything that everyone else does. But then they come back to a pitching, rolling postage stamp moving sideways and forward in some back hole at night in bad weather.

How can you not love that stuff.

Man I love to see that! Like I've seen all of the Iron Eagle films....

Still though wondering how old these pilots are... If they are early 20's then I must say good work!
In Canada Labrador you need to be 25 to drive a car....
