Another achievement for this great site. The new Gander/Goose feed could be the start of a complete Transatlantic Live ATC....covering VHF at the Gander side ..then onto the HF feed. The difficulty will be at the Europe side,as to the legality of an Irish feed ?..and if this is not a issue finding a site to get Shannon Atc on 132.15/131.15/134.27 once flights are handed over from HF....
As far as I've been able to determine it's legal in Ireland. Could be wrong, but I believe it is OK. Keep in mind that I am not a communications lawyer, or a lawyer at all. But I sometimes like to play one on TV.
The Goose Bay feed is very nice and has an interesting mix of traffic. Thanks and hats go off to the great guy who has put the feed on for all of us.
Perhaps someone at Gander will see this and help put on some of the high altitude frequencies right at Gander. And someone at Shannon as well!
One listener is working on putting up a feed at Cork (EICK) as we speak...not so interesting for trans-Atlantic, I suppose, but interesting nonetheless as it would be the first feed from Ireland.
