CPDLC

Is this monitorable, and if so, is there a program for decoding it? I love my AirNav programs, and I hate to see AirNav Suite go out the window when CPDLC takes over all over.

Thanks!

The last that I heard of CPDLC was that it has only been fully implemented at ZMA.

That's for domestic, but unfortunately, more and more transatlantic flights are using CPDLC. I listen to NAT B and I hear "voice reports not required in the Gander OCA" because aircraft are using CPDLC. I know it going to take time to implement, but...

I know how you feel. No one will probably read this.(found it in a search) i will also make a post. i have been usine suite for about two years. love every hour. but the CPDLC is a bugger. No voice position reports. But CPDLC goes up to a sattelite and has to come back down somwhere (Dosent it, i dont think nasa would spend the money gettin atcs into space) so if you piont a yagi at the sattelite (after finding out which one it is) surley you could figure somthing out. the atc centre decodes it wright? I will make it my lifelong mission to be able to decode CPDLC transmissions (and brush up my spelling) heck airnav gave me the idea of being an air traffic controller (i'm still a student).
any info would be greatly app.
Paul.
does anyone know what sat.
