Close call at Logan this morning
« on: June 18, 2009, 01:44:43 PM »
Construction truck crossed runway 15R which was active while US Jet was taking off.  Appears the driver crossed without asking the tower.

a preliminary report today from the NTSB says the driver did not know the runway was active thus he crossed runway 15R without stopping just seconds before the US Airways aircraft.  Construction has still been halted on taxiway M while they figure out how this can be avoided in the future.
