Plane collision at Manchester {UK} Airport

A Lufthansa A320 and a Futura 737 had a collision on the taxiway of Manchester airport.The same thing happened in Heathrow a few months ago.

It poses the question are pilots in too much of a hurry to make there slots that they don't really look around them?
