Boston tower frequency question
« on: March 14, 2011, 10:11:27 AM »
I noticed on the new cycle of approach plates and airport diagrams (3/10/11) that 132.22 has been deleted from the charts.  Is Boston no longer using the 2nd frequency and just using 128.8?

Interesting - it was in use as of a couple of days ago.  Will have to check.

Was listening to the BOS final feed tonight and they were telling the aircraft to contact 132.22 so sounds like it is still in use. They may have taken the 132.22 off of the approach plates maybe to make things a little easier for the pilots as to which frequency to contact the tower on but then again approach tells them the frequency anyway.

132.22 is still in use; no change.
