(Really super cool controller, and an assisting pilot above her, glad all ok.  )

A plane crashed at a campground in Plymouth on Monday morning and the pilot has been taken to the hospital.

Police said they received a 911 call at 10:58 a.m. reporting that a plane had crashed at Gentile's Campground, in the Terryville part of Plymouth.

In a conversation with air traffic control captured on LiveATC.net, the woman in the plane said she was a student pilot on a solo flight and that she was having engine trouble.

"I am a student pilot solo and I am panicking," she told the air traffic controller.

The controller directed the student pilot to a grass strip runway in Plymouth, but the plane went down in the trees short of the runway.

Witnesses said the pilot was helped from the downed plane by a maintenance worker at the campground.

Listener Forum / Re: poor quality for FMEE compared to before

I think they  need to set the squelch parameter because before there was almost none now there is quite a lot which makes the exchanges more complicated to understand compared to 1 week ago.  :-). If anyone can contact the feed provider of FMEE for letting him know the quality issue it would be nice.

Listener Forum / poor quality for FMEE compared to before
« Last post by artisticmonster on June 03, 2024, 10:08:02 AM »
Hello, I was wondering why the quality of FMEE has deteriorated over the last few days. A lot of noise which makes listening much less pleasant. In addition, it's sometimes difficult to hear clearly compared to before. I hope the feeder will see this message. I've got one last thing to say, thank you for what you're doing, I'm really enjoying it, and one last thing, THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Listener Forum / Re: New York Center (Sector 91 Williamsport Low) 124.900 ?
« Last post by JetScan1 on June 01, 2024, 03:53:56 PM »
At the moment it seems that the feed called ZNY Sector 72 is monitoring 91, and the feed called ZNY Sector 91 is monitoring 72.

Yeah I was wrong before, yes the feed called ZNY Sector 91 does appear to be monitoring 127.725 (ZNY 72). However the feed called ZNY 72 appears to be monitoring 132.150 ZNY 74 (which at times combines with 91 and 92). Can anyone confirm what frequencies are actually set in the radios ?
