It's great to hear that the feed will be up again soon, I was very excited to see that a PVD feed was set up in the first place. I vacation on Block Island which is served by PVD approach and really enjoy listening to the ATC for those all too brief 2 weeks every year. Since the signal on 125.75 is really strong on the island, I would have to assume that the transmitter is based there, so it's probably too far for you if you're picking up 35.4 and 28.7. I'm more then happy with the frequencies you have now, and I can assure you that I'll definately be a loyal listener. On another note, I have a portable Pro 95 scanner and may have a similiar problem to the one you're experiencing. When using my AC adapter if I move either the scanner or the AC wire, even slightly, I lose power as if there is a bad connection somewhere along the way (probably is) and this is accompianied by a popping sound through the speaker. Then when the power does come back, the screen is blank and I have to turn the power off and on again to fix the problem, all the while trying not to disturb the wire again. If this happens a few times in rapid succession the memory gets erased. If I remembery correctly the screen reads "initializing" when this occurs. I've really been too lazy to do anything about it and avoid it most of the time by keeping the scanner in one place when using AC power. I'm not sure if any of this applies to you, and i'm certainly not an expert in these matters, but perhaps something was hitting your cord and causing this type of thing to happen? Either way, I really just wanted to thank you for setting up the feed and let you know that your work is appreciated.
