UAL575 Engine Failure at FL300 Diverts to KATL

UAL575 was cruising at FL300 enroute to KIAH and were near Athens, Georgia when they had a failure of the left-side engine.  The flight crew began a descent and diverted to Atlanta (KATL).  They landed safely a short time later on runway 27R at KATL.  It appears there was an oil leak forcing the crew to shut down the engine in flight.
