I thought I would post this unedited snippet from the YKZ feed. During the 8 minutes, I counted 13 different aircraft the controller was dealing with.
You might notice that not a single one was cleared for take-off. The traffic was a good mix of helicopters, C150s, C172s, Seminole, Bonanza,Navajo, and a C185 on Floats.
FYI.. Some VFR reporting points you might hear..
Preston Lake, about 6 miles north of the field.
Victoria Square, 3 miles north of the field.
Markham Watertower, 6 miles east of the field
Unionville, 3 miles east of the field.
From what I can tell, BFL was a helicopter doing circuits at 1200' (circuit altitude is 1650'). VGN Was on his way north passing through Buttonville's CZ. The rest were in the circuit or inbound for landing.
Active runway is 33. Here is what I was able to keep track of:
-Grass Cutter (tractor cutting grass on the field)
- CTV1: Helicopter
- BTE: Bonanza
- UVH: C150
- SCF: C172
- SEQ: ?
- UAR: ?
- SCY: C172
- VGN: C185, floats
- SCG: C172
- Survey2: Navajo
- PFG: Seminole
- BFL: Helicopter
- SCP: C172?
