A somewhat alarming report on cabin air quality, with both the Boeing 757 and the British Aerospace 146 in particular coming in for some unwelcome attention

Anyone ever experienced anything like this (I'm hoping the answer is no...)?

I am not surprised at all that they find minuscule traces of oil in the air coming out of a mechanical ventilation system. The fans and valves in the system must be greased to remain operational.
With the concentration of potentiality toxic chemicals a factor 1000 under the legal norm for air I do not worry. Do you realise that alcohol is available on board in lethal doses.

Yep this does not surprise me either, my brother works on bombadier Dash 8 aircrafts for a living and hes told me about how the air systems work... Scarry stuff. hehe
