« on: January 27, 2016, 04:44:27 PM »
KSDL Tower comms.

Runway Excursion involving a Dassault Falcon 20F-5
Operator: Sterling LIHTC LLC
Registration: N706SB

The Dassault Falcon 20 sustained substantial damage in a runway excursion accident seemingly caused by landing gear failure. The airport was closed for some hours (covered in the attached mp3 file).
Thankfully the pilot and the three passengers escaped injury.

I'm now adding a file which contains mostly Ground comms from the same incident. It is perhaps interesting to find the Ground controller initially giving a far more pessimistic view than the Tower controller was regarding the prospects of the airport reopening before the scheduled closing time that day.
