JBU355 Engine Fire on Takeoff From KJFK

On January 13, JBU355 had just started its takeoff roll on KJFK's runway 31L when other aircraft noticed that the JetBlue's #2 engine was on fire and emitting sparks.  The flight crew was made aware of the fire and they were able to abort the takeoff.  The fire was out by the time rescue crews arrived but other aircraft reported the #2 engine was glowing.
