ASouthwest Airlines 737-Max bound for St. Louis from Austin Bergstrom International Airport Sunday morning aborted take off after a reported issue with one of the aircraft’s two engines, according to the airline.

Flight 456 was brought to a maintenance area, and was also able to taxi to a gate afterward to deplane its passengers, an airport spokesperson said. Airport officials said the incident caused a runway closure until around 2 p.m., leaving only one runway for outbound and inbound flights. The runway closure was due to inspections and clean up.

The fire caused a plethora of flight delays, with the airport resuming normal operations once the runway was cleared. No injuries were reported during the incident.

Southwest said that another plane was continuing the flight, and the original plane taken out of service for review. According to FlightAware, the 11:30 a.m. flight departed at 2:33 p.m. and was scheduled to land at 4:11 p.m.
