On October 27, an Edelweiss A320 (EDW298B) departing for Faro, Portugal aborted its takeoff run at Zurich Airport. According to the airline, the aircraft was behaving abnormally during takeoff causing the pilots the reject the takeoff at high speed. Passengers reported the aircraft was shaking considerably during takeoff. The tower sent the fire brigade out to the aircraft as a precaution because of possible overheated brakes due to the high-speed takeoff rejection.
