AFR356 Tail Strike Landing Toronto

On January 21, the tail of AFR356 struck the runway while attempting to land on Toronto's runway 24L.  The flight crew aborted the landing, went around and landed safely on runway 24L on the second attempt a short time later.  The crew reported that it would have been too long a landing as the reason for the go-around.  The aircraft received significant damage because of the tail strike.
