AAL747 Diverts to KDFW with Hydraulic Problems
« on: May 03, 2024, 03:04:47 PM »
On April 29, AAL747 was enroute to Las Vegas (KLAS) from Miami (KMIA) at FL360 when the flight crew diverted to Dallas/Fort Worth (KDFW) possibly due to hydraulic problems.  They did not dump any fuel and landed overweight a short time later on KDFW's runway 18R.  They stopped on the runway so that the emergency crews could check out the aircraft after which they taxied to the gate on their own.  The attached audio picks up from the point the flight crew contacted Regional Approach descending to 6000 feet.
