(I have pulled a lot of audio, but this one really hit home in a few ways.  One, how sudden things can change, from a seemingly "door popped open" to nothing heard after that.
Second, kudos to all of the aviators around the area, skillful and cooperative, and especially the controller, that man was a rock star.  I did trim out some of the non-essential tx's,
but to hear him not only control the airspace, but coordinate the situation all at the same time,  man is a real professional and a credit to ATC.)
RIP and prayers with the families.

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – Two people died in an airplane crash that happened shortly after the aircraft took off from the Northeast Florida Regional Airport in St. Augustine Monday around noon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies are responding to the wooded area near Torres Trace where the crash happened.
