(this has to be the calmest rejected take off ever.  Controller got real busy real fast, but you can't tell by his demeanor.)

A United Boeing 767-300, registration N684UA performing flight UA-12 from Zurich (Switzerland) to Chicago O'Hare,IL (USA) with 142 people on board, was accelerating for takeoff from Zurich's runway 16 when the crew rejected takeoff at high speed (about 145 knots over ground). The aircraft came to a safe stop on the runway past the intersection with runway 28, a number of main tyres deflated. Emergency services responded, the passengers disembarked via stairs onto the runway. The aircraft was moved off the runway almost 4 hours after the rejected takeoff.

LiveATC is aware of this problem and is working to resolve this issue.  It looks like there is a problem with one of the receivers at the feed site.  It will hopefully get taken care of sooner rather than later.

Lakeland, KLAL is a busy little place, even when Fun-n-Sun isn't there.
This Controller impressed me very much, cool and calm handling this.
Just love his radio delivery.

(you only hear Lewiston approach at first, but then his Mayday comes thru, other aircraft joined the search too.  glad all ok)

WINCHESTER, ID – Two people escaped with only minor injuries after a small aircraft crashed in a field north of Winchester on Sunday afternoon, June 22.

According to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. and involved a Piper Turbo Lance II, a six-seat aircraft. Deputies and emergency crews responded to the scene following reports of a possible downed plane near the city.

Upon arrival, first responders located the wreckage and confirmed that both occupants had exited the aircraft on their own. No serious injuries were reported.

Personnel from the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, Winchester Fire Department, Winchester Quick Response Unit, Nezperce Ambulance, and Nez Perce Tribal Police all responded to the scene.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is now being handled by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board.

The feed for KMRY is up but there is no audio from the GND/TWR channel. I was at the airport this morning and none of the traffic was being put out. Appears to have been like this for over a week. Really like listing to this feed when I'm out for my morning walks at the airport. Hope the feed returns soon.

(RIP and prayers with the other injured)
One occupant was pronounced dead on scene, police said, while the other was flown to a hospital with serious injuries. Speaking on scene, Beverly Police Chief John LeLacheur said the second victim was in critical condition before transport.

The names and ages of the pilot and passenger have not been released at this time.

Leah Read, senior air safety investigator with the NTSB, said the plane, which was headed for New York, was only in the air for about a minute.

“The pilot just said he had some sort of problem with his engine and wanted to return. So it all happened very quickly," she told NBC10 Boston.

Someone at the airport saw smoke underneath the aircraft near the landing gear shortly after takeoff.

“It was described to me as puff of not black smoke but dark smoke coming from the area maybe behind the engine near the landing gear.”

She believes the pilot was Massachusetts-based and that he was familiar with this airport. The recovered plane was a fixed-wing single engine aircraft with four seats. It will be taken to a secure location in western Massachusetts, where the investigation into the aircraft will continue.

According to police, there have been no reports of any ground injuries or additional property damage in the area at this time.
One person has died and another person was critically injured in a small plane crash in Beverly, Massachusetts, on Thursday morning.

The crash occurred around 8:45 a.m. on Sam Fonzo Drive, just outside the Beverly Regional Airport, with two people onboard, according to the Beverly Fire and Police departments.

Responding crews found a single-engine piston aircraft with significant damage that appeared to be resting against a utility pole. There were two men trapped inside.

A private plane crash-landed at the Paso Robles Municipal Airport on Friday morning.

A small, six-seat airplane carrying two people failed to lower its landing gear during its descent, Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services Battalion Chief Brian Lewis said.

As a result, the single-engine plane landed on its belly and slid down the runway until coming to a stop, he said.  The plane was a Cessna T210 and had flown from Paso Robles to San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport earlier that morning, before encountering the problem on its return flight.

The incident did not result in injuries, but the airplane was significantly damaged, Lewis said.

Update: The Tri-Cities Airport confirmed that only the pilot was onboard the aircraft. He was evaluated at the scene.

BLOUNTVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) — A small plane crash-landed at Tri-Cities Airport (TRI) on Saturday morning after its landing gear reportedly failed upon touchdown, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

A statement from the FAA said, “The landing gear of a Beechcraft V35 collapsed when the plane landed at Tri-Cities Airport in Tennessee around 11:30 a.m. local time on Saturday.”  TRI emergency responders and maintenance crews worked quickly and efficiently to safely secure the scene, remove the aircraft, and return the runway to service with minimal disruption.
