Title: Wake turbulence and crosswind
Post by: cleo50 on November 10, 2009, 11:34:53 AM
There is an article on www.roger-wilco.net about the CREDOS project which aims to increase runway throughput by allowing medium aircraft to depart behind a heavy with normal separation when crosswind blows the vortices away from the medium's path. Interesting idea, worth a good discussion.

Look for the article in the "Life around runways" category.
