The past few days I have noticed what appears to be a small to midsize private jet making extremely low altitude/high speed passes around Six Mile, SC. The pilot is appears to be testing the limits of this aircraft. Does anyone know anything about this? The jet flies at approximately 1200 ft. It is amazing to watch from the ground. I am not aware of any testing areas around and this is not a military aircraft. Thanks....

I might have an answer to my own question. Upon further review, I think this might be a T-1 Jawhawk. It is not painted in traditional military colors (it has orange tips). Anyway, this is my best guess.

I'm not sure what you mean by orange "tips", but i've never seen a T-1 with orange anything, and after being stationed at Columbus AFB for 3 years I saw my fair share. Some Navy trainers have some orange on them. The Coast Guard Falcon has some orange too.

It's probably a Navy Sabreliner in a military training route. Does it look like this?

Sounds like a flight check aircraft to me. Checking an approach or VOR.
