Title: Medevac operations

When someone is in the medevac service is the pilot subcontracted or are they employed by the personal where medical staff is from? Does the Pilot use the FM radio at all to talk to emergency services?

Anyone can be a medevac.  If Delta, for example, has organs on board then they will call themselves Delta Medevac 1205 and then we'll shortcut them.
