Do heavies land on 27-left? Is it long enough?

They generally do not, but possible with a length of 7967'. Depending on wind direction, 22R which is 7500', is used by heavy jets.  I have been on several A330-300s that landed on 22R with LAHSO in effect with 27L.  While the braking was heavy, stopping short of 27L was no problem.

Thanks. I have heard several 57s and 77s cleared to 28-R, too.

Here is an example of a heavy B777 using 9L.  A few weeks ago, 9L became an arrival runway. Prior to this, only the opposite end, 27R, was used for arrivals.
