Title: Helicopter Add on flight training
Post by: masterkeymaster on March 04, 2014, 07:54:13 PM
I was thinking about doing a helicopter add on, I am very confused about certain things. Since I have no Legal time in a helicopter do have I have to go through the ranks of private instrument and commercial ratings for the helicopter provided I already have a private and instrument Airplane single engine land? However before I do the helicopter add on I want to complete the commercial Airplane single engine land and then do the multi engine land. With the helicopter I want to end up with a commercial instrument helicopter rating. For the Helicopter how many check rides will I need? What is the closest ground media for helicopter ground training such as king schools cleared for take off, cleared for approach, cleared for hirer ect. How much should the helicopter add on coast in total?
