Title: Headset Patch Cable
Post by: Fryy/Avocadoflight on January 25, 2011, 07:38:35 PM
I've been looking for an aviation headset/audio patch cable for a while to start recording my flights. Does anyone on here use one or know any where to get one. All the places I searched online to buy them said they were no longer available.

This attenuating dubbing cable (http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103841) should do the trick.

Here's how it's hooked up (http://keith.tristesse.com/about_videos) in my plane.

Hard to beat the price, assuming you have a spare jack that you're not using, otherwise, throw a splitter into the mix.
