Title: Flying in S.Korea
Post by: prospects87 on February 17, 2009, 01:38:08 PM
Hello, I will be visiting Korea within a month or so.. and would like to rent out a 172 or close to one.
I currently have a valid U.S. private (SEL) license with an instrument rating.
What do I have to do, in order to fly in Korea with a u.s. license?!
Thanks.

Back when I was there one had to be in the military and belong to the Aero Club.  We had one at Osan.  Every flight you had to file flight plan at Base Ops and get sector passwords else they claimed they would shoot you down.  At the time there was NO flying North of Seoul.
