Flight schools in Seattle?
« on: July 03, 2010, 11:55:33 PM »
My apologies if this isn't the correct place to post this, but I thought that you bunch would be knowledgeable on this.

I was just wondering if anyone from the Seattle area could recommend some good flight schools to get started at. I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the options, and of course they all claim to be the best. I've been looking at Northway Aviation at Paine Field because of their new fleet, but I'm completely open to other suggestions. I can train out of either PAE, BFI or RNT, and I plan on going all the way through from Private Pilot's to ATP. Thanks guys.  :-D

I just finished (last month) my PPL at Wings Aloft at Boeing Field (http://www.wingsaloft.com), and it was great.

Very good instructors, friendly staff, plenty of opportunities for seminars, fly-ins and extras.
(example: earlier this week there was a very comprehensive GPS Seminar for those of us who learned with "steam gauges"... no extra cost)

I would definitely pay them a visit.
