Title: FDIO WX message
Post by: mklatval on December 02, 2008, 05:50:12 PM
When I was in training one of the guys showed me how to get a weather readout from any reporting station, but I can't remember the command. Anyone know this one?

I think it was along the lines of WR then the identifier, but I'm not at work right now so I can't try it.

you would be correct

WR KXXX

BUT the facility you are trying to get has to be in your host computers system as well.

like for me...minneapolis center is our host computer...so i can get weather reports for anyone else that has minn. as their host

The K is optional, but not required.
