Title: Ceiling and Visibility of Weather Minima
Post by: stonemin on January 23, 2016, 09:55:12 PM
Ifr landing Minima Chart of FAA has both ceiling and visibility minima regardless of approch type(straight-in and circling). I believe it means that Pilot shuld meet the both ceiling and visibility minima although he conducts Straight-in approach procedure.

But in my country(not USA and it applies ICAO regulation), Landing minima for Straight-in approach procedure consists of only 'visibility'.

So I guess there is difference on landing minima between ICAO and FAA. But i couldn't find that information. Please Let me know!

(I've asked same question at Aviation stackexchange site. however, I also want to get answers from Live ATC forum's user)
