Patterns at C-90 (O'Hare)?
« on: November 18, 2013, 09:14:03 AM »
Is there anything on the web, or published, about the new traffic patterns at O'Hare?

In listening to KORD feeder, it sounds like most A/C are cleared to MONKZ, KURKK or VULCN, no matter what STAR they use.

Okay, then what happens? During west flow, does SE feeder then turn them around for a downwind back out over the lake?

I'm really confused.

These are Downwind fixes for the RNAV stars for both east and west flow, except for traffic from the southeast on west flow would fly the Watsn arrival and go straight in to the hi and wide rwy 27L.

I was able to take a tour of C-90, and it explained everything. Final begins vectoring long before AC reach KURKK, VULCN, MONKZ or JORJO, although the vector may take them over said RPs.
