ZNY Bermuda Radar Out of Service Again

According to ZNY, their sector 81 Bermuda radar is out of service this week (Monday to Friday) for maintenance.  ZNY using non-radar procedures during this time.  CPDLC also in use.  ZNY has split sector 81 into two separate sectors with one sector on 128.5 and the other using 119.1 both of which can be heard on the ZNY Bermuda feed.  Makes for interesting listening.

Just an update: it looks like ZNY 128.5 is handling traffic above FL310 and ZNY 119.1 is working traffic FL310 and below.  This will probably continue the rest of the week...

According to ZNY, the Bermuda radar is out of service again with no estimate when it will be back.  Non-radar procedures in effect in the Bermuda area.
