Firefox's Websearch Pro Extension now has LiveATC feed search
« on: December 15, 2008, 03:11:09 PM »
For those Firefox users who use the Websearch Pro extension, note that LiveATC's feed search box (what Dave is still listing as BETA but works well in quickly jumping to a desired feed) was just added to Websearch Pro's extensive list of available search engines.

For those Firefox users who are not aware, Websearch Pro is a top-rated and download extension that combines any number of your favorite search engines into one box that you can put on the toolbar of your browser.  For example, you can combine Google, YouTube, Wiki, IMDB, LiveATC, eBay, and thousands of other search engines into one search box.    Then, when you know what site you want to search, you simply click the drop-down, choose the site, type in your text, and hit enter.  You will be taken to that site's search engine and a search initiated.  There are also keyboard shortcuts and drag&drop zones that you can configure to use to quickly invoke a specific search.

I have been using this extension for a few years now and it is very handy in skipping the few sometimes tedious steps needed to go to a website and initiate a search.
