Title: ZJX Daytona Beach and Valdosta requests
Post by: MIAMIATC on July 28, 2017, 04:02:50 PM
I have submitted a contact LIVEATC request hat has not been answered in a week in regard to a couple of requests.

1. ZJX Daytona Beach feed is missing 127.475 which is used during peak IN/OUT flow from MCO. 126.35 is on the feed but it does get split
off with 127.475. The addition of 127.475 would provide full N/NE flow in and out of Orlando. Also the addition of SUPER HIGH 135.45
should be on this feed rather than oceanic 134.85 which is far offshore of Daytona Beach area.
    FREQ,S should be 126.35,127.475,135.45, and 134.0

2.ZJX VALDOSTA should be scanning 125.05,128.075,134.3,134.45, and 133.7. 135.625 is listed but is south of the Valdosta area and
should not be on this feed even though it has Controller traffic as well

Hoping that the feeders will see this thread to possibly consider these requests/suggestions

Thanks

We are the feeder at DAB. Your email was not answered because I am at Oshkosh this week and a little behind on email. It will be considered in due course but that feed is pretty saturated already.

At Valdosta we will take a look but we're in the same boat there. We also run that feed.

We got more complaints about one-sided feeds (no controller heard) than any other thing related to Center feeds. There is a very small group of folks who like to listen to one-sided feeds...those doing their own Center maps. While we love to support everything we can, we can't always feed that desire due to the number of complaints it generates.
