Title: ZDV severe turbulence / mountainwave activity tonight 03/26/12

Numerous flights in the airspace between GJT and DEN reporting severe turbulence and unplanned altitude changes (my phrase, not theirs) of plus and/or minus 400 ft. between FL 280 and 300. Controllers asking some flights if they need to report aircraft damage or passenger injury.

Interesting listening...
