Title: ZDC SIE54 on Different Frequency
Post by: RonR on March 26, 2019, 12:14:52 PM

For those who are interested, ZDC Sea Isle sector 54, which usually operates on 133.125, is currently using 134.025.  The controller is still simulcasting on 133.125 but the signal is very weak (usually it's loud and clear); still readable though.

Thanks for the report Ron.

ZDC had also subbed in 135.550 to replace of 133.825 in Sector 34 (ORF area FL240 to FL350). It was like that for a few months, but just checking now it seems they are back to using 133.825.

Yea I think they switched to 134.025 for only about 30 minutes and then went back to 133.125.  They must have also been using a different transmitter site because for the time they were on 134.025, the controller was very weak while simulcasting on 133.125...
