Hi Guys,
As I can see, you guys are right on top of things! I was just coming on here to post that these new feeds are online only to see that you already found them lol!
There are now a total of 8 new ZDC feeds which can all be found here:
https://www.liveatc.net/search/?icao=kchoOriginally 121.925, 127.925, 133.575 and 133.725 were planned for one feed. But these four frequencies are very busy and it was felt that splitting them up would make it easier to listen to. Now 133.575 and 133.725 each have their own feed and 121.925 and 127.925 are combined on a single feed along with 118.925. This freq was added here because there is some flow from 118.925 to 121.925. Also, the majority of traffic can be heard on 118.925 but it's true that there may be some lower altitude aircraft might not be heard. Northbound flights to the DCA/IAD area will start their descent on 118.925 and get handed off to ZDC 127.75 (a Liveatc feed).
I've been listening to 118.925 on my own scanner down here for some time and I thought reception was good enough to include it somewhere in this new feed setup.
Mike you asked about 132.225, this frequency has its own feed now.
At the moment there's a lot of nasty static on many of the feeds... I'm hoping it's those workers I see in a neighboring backyard.
This new receiver site is located near the Gordonsville VOR in Virginia
