ZBW BANGOR/HOULTON
« on: October 05, 2013, 10:15:06 PM »
The app feed for Bangor has ZBW 128.05 listed on the feed but I have not hear anything on it along that the ZBW HOULTON feed with 128.05 and 120.25 listed has bleedover with an ATIS transmission when it is stopped on 128.05.

Thank You.

That is a known issue.  I installed that feed and it needs a special filter to cure the current issue.  It will be fixed in coming weeks.

For now the best way to listen to 128.05 is to listen very carefully or drive up to northern Maine with your scanner.  :-)

Also, the ground (controller) side of 128.05 switches between HUL and BGR (controller choice of transmitter) - so even when it is fixed you won't always hear the controller.  We have a new feed in Bangor with 128.05 on the Approach side but that doesn't have an outside antenna yet.
