The Georgetown Texas chapter of the Commemorative Air Force is struggling to raise $75,000 to install a new engine on their beloved World War II B-25 medium bomber named the Devil Dog.
The plane has been based in Georgetown for nearly 10 years, but is currently stranded in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, with a bad engine.
The group has less than two months to raise the money or a chapter in Atlanta may be awarded the plane by the national organization.
