We came in for approach and ended up going right over the runway (maybe about a thousand feet up?) for a second go around that got us on the ground. Surprisingly, the cabin was somewhat calm.
Did anyone happen to catch this or have a recording of it? I'm curious what the cause was.
Thanks

I had a listen, it seems there was an airplane on the runway that was too slow in taking off. ATC ordered the go around but messed up your callsign since a US Air plane was chiming in at the same time but the southwest crew understood.
