Title: Windshear At KROC

Front moving through Rochester right now is causing problems with arriving traffic. Had 2 go-arounds in last 5 minutes (ASQ5744 & EGF4089), both are trying again. Current winds reported are 270 deg at 18 knots gusting 29 knots with +/- 20 knots on short final with moderate turbulence.

Definitely some interesting listening.

Update: 2 more go-arounds in last 20 minutes. Now reporting +30 to 35 knots on final.

I posted an audio clip on the audio forum, recorded around 7:30 PM EST. Same activities. Wind gusts to 44 kts.

Snow/Visibility the culprit today. Citrus 598 just went around because of nil visibility on final. Still gusting winds as well.
