Air accident reports
« on: August 27, 2008, 11:56:52 PM »
Does anyone know of a website where I can find air accident reports or the names of the agencies that do the investigation?

Aviation Safety Network [1] keeps a global tally of (mainly airline) accidents, it has a resources section with links [2] to the AAIBs
The US NTSB [3] has a searchable database with all US incidents.

www.asias.faa.gov is an interesting resource, too. Searchable by airport, type, etc. Pretty fun to pass some time.

The Aircraft Owner Pilot Association www.aopa.org under air safety has a accident data base as well as links to various sources.

...perhaps you might be interested in http://www.bfu-web.de/nn_223648/DE/Publikationen/Untersuchungsberichte/untersuchungsberichte__node.html?__nnn=true. There you can find all air accidents which had happened in Germany . You might probably like to read it in English: No problem, just click onto the banner.
Kind regards, Martina
