NY approach feed

I have noticed that NY departure 135.9 has changed in a way where it sounds like the volume there is a little high.  I think that's the problem.  The sound quality is generally OK, but sometimes I notice a problem that occurs intermittently for like one second, and then it's OK, then it happens again, etc.  I have not noticed the problem on NY approach 125.7 and 127.4 and 132.4, but those three have been quiet a bit.  I'm not sure if those are working OK.  If you guys could take a look at this, that would be appreciated.

I noticed today that the squelch on NY departure 135.9 seems a little lower than everything else. Is that on purpose; can it be changed?

The squelch has not been touched recently, I tightened it up a bit but not much.

With regard to the volume, I put them a tad higher... I couldn't do much more.
